Starting the Installation Wizard (Windows)

Digital Hive has an installation wizard that makes it easy to install all necessary components, including Elasticsearch and Qlik Sense.

Before you begin

Ensure that your system meets all requirements, as detailed under Pre-installation tasks.

Procedure

1. Obtain the Digital Hive installation archive from your Motio representative.
2. Open a Windows Command window using the Run as Administrator option.
3. Extract the contents of the archive to a folder on a supported server.
4. Change directory (cd) to the directory containing the setup.cmd script.
5. Run setup.cmd.
Important: Ensure that the admin user name does not contain any special characters.
6. Follow the instructions in the wizard pages.
7. Optional: To install the Recommender Engine procede with the following steps.
8. On the IQ Configuration page of the wizard, check the checkbox to install IQ.
9. Click Next.
   The Preflight Check page appears.
10. On the Preflight Check page, review the port numbers and ensure they are not occupied or change to desired port.
11. Click Next to finish installation.
